Timber flooring Toowong
Two published Toowong jobs: blackbutt-look vinyl planks upstairs, and a prefinished blackbutt timber floor. The showroom is in Woolloongabba.
Toowong has two completed project stories on this site, and they are not the same floor. One is vinyl plank in a blackbutt look, laid through an upstairs bedroom and hallway. The other is prefinished blackbutt timber with a gloss finish, shown in close-up so the grain, board joins and colour variation are visible. Light from nearby windows reflects off that gloss surface.
Vinyl planks upstairs
The vinyl job runs light planks between white walls and skirting, through an empty bedroom, a doorway, and a narrow upstairs hall beside the stair balustrade. It stops at the top of the stairs in the photos. The product named on the story is blackbutt-look vinyl plank, not timber and not hybrid. The vinyl range is where catalogue colours live. Prefinished blackbutt
The second story is a set of close-ups of a prefinished timber floor in Toowong. The title names it prefinished blackbutt. The photos show board ends, grain figure, natural colour variation and a gloss finish. They do not show a whole room, and the story does not say whether the boards are solid or engineered. Prefinished means the coating was applied before the boards were laid, so this floor was not sanded in the house as part of the published account.
A separate gallery listing
The older gallery also lists solid Blackbutt Select, 130 × 19mm, in Toowong, with an oil-based polish finish. That is a different description from the prefinished gloss close-ups, so it is not folded into either project story. It sits on the gallery page. Solid timber with an oil-based polish is finished on site, by sanding and coating, rather than arriving prefinished. That process is on floor sanding and polishing.
